Pyramid Solitaire
Pair cards that sum to 13 to clear the pyramid. Remove the apex to win.
How to play
Pyramid Solitaire is played with a standard 52-card deck. The 28-card pyramid is displayed apex-up. Your goal is to remove every card from the pyramid by pairing cards whose ranks add up to 13.
The setup
28 cards are arranged in a 7-row pyramid — 1 card at the apex, 7 at the base. The remaining 24 cards form the stock pile at the bottom.
Available cards
A card is available (face-up and selectable) when both cards directly below it have been removed. All seven base-row cards are available from the start.
Pairing to 13
Click two available cards whose ranks sum to 13 to remove them. Card values: Ace=1, 2–10 face value, Jack=11, Queen=12, King=13.
Kings
Kings (rank 13) are removed alone with a single click — no pairing needed.
Stock and waste
Click the stock to flip the top card to the waste. The waste top card can pair with any available pyramid card. When the stock is empty, click it to recycle the waste once.
Winning
Clear every card from the pyramid (the stock and waste may still have cards). Not all deals are winnable, but most are beatable with the right sequence.
